Lexercise Professional Therapy
Lexercise uses a Structured Literacy curriculum (also known as Orton-Gillingham). Structured literacy is a research-based approach that addresses reading, writing, and spelling difficulties. It’s training program is accredited through the International Dyslexia Association (https://dyslexiaida.org). It is a multi-sensory method that connects letters with the sounds they make. This program is ideal for addressing difficulties with:
• Reading, Writing, and Spelling
• Understanding Word Parts
• Comprehension
• Vocabulary and Sentence Development

Reading & Spelling Inventory
Not sure where to start? I offer informal assessments that help identify areas of strength and areas that need support. Informal evaluations do not diagnose learning differences. They are designed to gather information about a student’s academic abilities to determine appropriate interventions. Informal evaluations include:
• Analysis of findings
• Written report of results
• Established baseline to track progress
• Recommendations on next steps

FREE Dyslexia Screener
Lexercise offers a FREE screener to see if your child is at risk for dyslexia. This screener is ideal for:
• Commitment-free way to have questions answered
• Analyze risk of dyslexia
• Figure out next steps
• Find out what symptoms mean

How it Works

Once a week students meet with their therapist for a 45 minute interactive session.

Students then play 15 minutes of individualized practice games for at least 4 days a week.

Parents are encouraged to attend sessions and participate in optional shared activities with their child between sessions.

Students who complete the program improve an average of 3 grade levels!
